ASL (American Sign Language)

I have been learning ASL for the past year, and recently moved into an ASL group, we endeavor to help those who are deaf and hard of hearing who use ASL to learn the Bible, we have dvd's and educational materials for any interested.

Laid off!

So a few weeks ago I started the arduous task of looking for work knowing i would be laid off from my railway job in the near future. I have applied at over 50 businesses and until today I had not heard anything from anyone! I prayed to Jehovah all along that he help us find work that would help us to pioneer in the long run and also help us move to Rapid City, SD to join the ASL(American Sign Language) group in the Pine Hills Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Today I was laid off, and today my inbox filled with prospective job offers! I think we're doing what Jehovah wants us to do and he is blessing us, now all we need to hear about is whether we got accepted for our apartment...more news later! T

Blizzard

this morning i arrived to Edgemont, SD in the middle of a blizzard, and i kid you not it was 10 degrees below zero and there was 40 mph wind, -50 freakin degrees!

hopefully this passes soon, i was liking the 32 degree winter with snow every other day, my snowboard was getting some use. speaking of which, i need to wax my board for next week's weekend at Terry Peak.

sometimes when i am bored, i think about Daisy...i think, what would have happened if i had crawled into your bed? what would have happened if i had proposed? would i be happy? happier than i am now? 

and then i stop thinking about Gatsby and get on with life...our minds wander too much! stupid human brain, stop over thinking, it paralyzes me!!!
